Review procedure
1. Manuscripts that will be selected for publication in the Рroceedings of the conference must undergo a mandatory external (double “blind”) review from the point of view of relevance, novelty, innovativeness of problem statement, clarity of formulation of research tasks, consistency and reasonableness of conclusions.
2. Each text submitted for publication in the Рroceedings of the conference is subject to a content and formal assessment.
3. The manuscript is sent to two external reviewers who analyze the text for the relevance and novelty of the research, the independence of the author’s observations, the wording of the text and compliance with the industry profile of the publication. The review period is up to 30 days. Members of the editorial board recommend as reviewers persons who are experts in the scientific field of a specific manuscript and have publications on the topic of the manuscript. Members of the editorial board can also be reviewers.
4. Reviewers must adhere to international best peer review practices, including the Guidelines for Reviewers from the European Association of Science Editors, the Web of Science Academy.
5. Reviewers are required to notify the editor of all possible conflicts of interest as soon as possible. They must also adhere to the principle of confidentiality when working with the manuscript, in particular not to use and reproduce it in whole or in part anywhere, and not to disclose information about the editorial request for review.
6. Reviewers can offer:
- recommending for printing;
- recommending for printing (after refinement);
- decline recommending for printing;
- appoint additional review by other expert.
7. The review procedure consists in verification of:
- scientific level of the manuscript, in particular research actuality, presence of problem in it, its meaningfulness for decision of the important scientific and practical tasks, correctness of methods application at the conducted researches, formulation of research conclusions and others like that;
- correctness of the use of special vocabulary and oterms;
- semantic filling and framework of the manuscript;
- correctness and completeness of used scientific sources.
8. Manuscripts of the editorial board members are subject to the standard external independent review procedure organized by the editor-in-chief. Members of the editorial board do not participate in the consideration of their own manuscripts.
The main reasons for denial of publication:
- violation of the ethical policy of the publication;
- inconsistency with the branch profile of the edition;
- plagiarism and / or self-plagiarism;
- low scientific quality of the article (there are no references for authoritative world research works, articles in abstract bases, above all Scopus and Web of Science);
- there are no topicality and novelty of the research;
- the proof base of scientific results is not sufficient, the conclusions are incomplete or incorrect;
- the lingvostylistic and technical completion of an manuscript is incorrect.
