The scientific Рroceedings of the conference «Medical physics – the current status, problems, the way of development. Innovation technologies» accepts for publication only original materials and abstracts which have not been published before or submitted for publication in other journals (see Ethical policy).

A special case of authors misconduct is plagiarism – the publication (in full or in part) of another person’s work or ideas as one’s own and/or reproduction of published texts (published works of art) of other authors without indicating authorship (Art. 42 of the Law of Ukraine “On Education“).

Plagiarism is a theft of intellectual property, therefore original author’s abstracts submitted to this Рroceedings of the conference, which contain significant textual borrowings from other articles, monographs, etc. without indicating the authorship, will be immediately rejected.

The editorial board uses Anti-Plagiarism system for detection of academic dishonesty, particularly licensed virtual programs Unicheck and / or iThenticate.

The journal provides the reviewers with the mentioned reports for a final decision on the originality of the manuscript.

Reprint of foreign articles (parts of articles), published earlier and / or translating citations in other languages without proper bibliographic reference is also considered as plagiarism. The editorial board verifies the correctness of the original source references inconsistency with which is considered as academic dishonesty and it can be a reason for the refinement of the abstracts and / or its rejection.

Self-plagiarism. The editorial board does not support excessive use by the Author of individual quotations and parts of scholar’s other articles (up to 10% of references to texts published earlier is admissible). Any cases of self-citation should be supported by bibliographic references.

Texts that reveal plagiarism (self-plagiarism) without references to the original source are rejected.
